Pacific Regional Comprehensive Center
Who We Are
Helping Pacific region state educational agencies improve teaching and learning for all students.
The Pacific Regional Comprehensive Center (PRCC) is part of a nationwide network of technical assistance centers established by the U.S. Department of Education. The Comprehensive Centers were created in 1996 to provide state educational agencies (SEAs) with high-quality, relevant, and useful information, resources, tools, and consultative expertise so that they have increased capacity to lead and sustain state-level initiatives that result in improved outcomes for all students.
The PRCC works collaboratively with the state education agencies in American Samoa; the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI); the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)--Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap; Guam; Hawai'i; the Republic of the Marshall Islands; and the Republic of Palau to support their efforts to implement, scale up, and sustain priority initiatives. PRCC is based at Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL).
